In a significant development for environmental conservation, a Biodiversity Club was inaugurated at Sree Narayana College in Kannur, Kerala, in collaboration with the Kerala State Biodiversity Board (KSBB). The inauguration ceremony, which took place on 26/10/23, was graced by the presence of Mr. KV Govindan, a prominent member of the KSBB.
The Biodiversity Club is poised to become a focal point for students and faculty members at Sree Narayana College to actively engage in activities and initiatives aimed at preserving and promoting the rich biodiversity of the region. With Mr. KV Govindan's inauguration, the club sets out on a mission to raise awareness about the critical importance of biodiversity and conservation efforts.
This initiative underscores the commitment of Sree Narayana College and the Kerala State Biodiversity Board to create a platform for fostering a deeper understanding of the environment and promoting sustainable practices.
